Javier Cuevas
Lead Architect and Design
Javier Cuevas is a Registered Architect in the State of Florida with over 12 years of experience shaping residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use projects throughout South Florida. Based in Miami, he is the Co-Founder of FORMA, a design-build venture dedicated to integrating architecture, construction, and development into a single, thoughtful process.
Javier co-founded FORMA with the belief that great buildings emerge when design and construction are aligned from the very beginning. His work is driven by an architect-led approach that prioritizes strong design, efficient building strategies, and long-term value.
Prior to launching FORMA, Javier founded Cuevas Architecture, where he successfully led the design and delivery of numerous projects across the region. Earlier in his career, he worked with several respected architecture firms including Zyscovich Architects, ADD Inc., and Touzet Studio, contributing to large-scale and complex developments that helped shape his understanding of architecture at multiple scales.
Born in Havana, Cuba, Javier moved to the United States at the age of 12. Creativity has always been central to his life—he won multiple drawing competitions in both Cuba and the U.S., and his early passion for art naturally evolved into architecture.
Beyond architecture, Javier was a National Judo Champion, having practiced the sport since the age of six. The discipline, resilience, and focus developed through years of training continue to influence his approach to design, business, and leadership.
Today, Javier enjoys spending time with his family, traveling the world together, and proudly supporting his two daughters, who compete in tennis.

Jose Libre
CEO
Jose Libre was born in San Cristóbal, Venezuela and raised in Miami, right in the heart of the city on First and Flagler. Growing up, he witnessed Miami’s constant evolution of buildings coming down, new ones rising, and entire neighborhoods transforming. Influenced early on by his father, a man of many trades, Jose developed a hands-on understanding of construction from a young age, working across multiple trades. Those early experiences, combined with watching the city evolve around him, shaped his desire to be part of building something lasting. He began his career at a Local GC, quickly advancing into project management while overseeing a high volume of ground-up and interior buildout projects across the East Coast. Working alongside architects, consultants, contractors, and a variety of municipalities, he developed a clear and structured approach centered on coordination, planning, and execution.Jose later played a key role in a $110M multi-building residential development in Doral, gaining experience managing large-scale projects and complex team coordination from buyout through construction. He then transitioned into an Owner’s Representative role at a consulting firm, where he led projects from early planning through completion. There, he developed comprehensive development budgets and schedules capturing both soft and hard costs, and assembled and managed all key team members. He worked across design teams, consultants, and contractors, overseeing bidding and contracting while ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.Known for his calm, hands-on approach, Jose focuses on bringing clarity and consistency to every project. He works closely with all parties involved to ensure each project is well coordinated and delivered the right way, creating spaces that leave a lasting mark on the city he calls home.
